Terms of Service

Welcome to Conexa Labs Inc. (“ConexaLabs”, “we”, “us”). By using our mobile applications, software and related backend services (together, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Individual apps may have their own terms; CoNest’s are at conest.tech/terms.

1. Scope of Services

ConexaLabs designs and operates mobile applications. Our apps use a local-first architecture: data items are kept in your device’s local storage for immediate access and offline use, and synchronize with backend services to keep your account consistent.

2. Data privacy and non-monetization

• No data monetization. We do not track, harvest, monetize, rent or sell your application data, metrics or profile details to any third party.
• Local-first processing. Active items are processed and kept in your device’s local storage to minimize external exposure.
• Backend synchronization. Data synced with backend services is used strictly to maintain your account across platforms and to provide features that require a server.

3. Architecture and security

• No unnecessary bloat. We avoid third-party middleware and data brokers, and reduce cloud dependencies wherever we can.
• Your responsibility. Because data lives on your device, keeping the device and your account credentials secure is your responsibility.

4. Intellectual property and licence

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, ConexaLabs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our applications. All trademarks, frameworks and source code developed by ConexaLabs remain the property of Conexa Labs Inc.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of our applications or synchronization frameworks.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the backend services.
• Do not use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Because we do not control your device or network, ConexaLabs is not liable for data loss, device failure or unauthorized access resulting from compromised devices or credentials.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by updating the date at the top of this page or by an in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the new Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
